Ukrainian Youth in SlovakiaUkrainian Youth in Slovakia: Preserving Stories of Change for the Present and Future was a 12‑month youth‑led solidarity initiative based in Trnava, Slovakia. It empowered Ukrainian and local youth through art therapy, creative writing, and digital storytelling to promote empathy, inclusion, and European values. The project aimed to challenge stereotypes, foster active citizenship, and create innovative resources for youth workers and organisations.

The initiative combined non‑formal learning activities with digital outputs. It offered 7 art therapy workshops for children (8–16) and a 6‑part creative writing course for older youth (17+), helping participants develop self‑expression, confidence, and intercultural understanding. Alongside these activities, the team produced 10 multilingual video interviews documenting the experiences of Ukrainian youth, complemented by a social media campaign to reach a broader audience.

As part of its digital transformation focus, the project developed and published narrative game assets on itch.io, turning creative concepts and story arcs into open‑source materials for future development. Methodological guides were also created to support youth workers in replicating integration‑focused activities.
