It’s already here, our DiGi YOUTH Work Hub has just been launched! We are super excited because it is a very helpful tool for everybody who has to move their activities to the online space, especially for youth workers. What does the Hub offer?

Our project team was working hard within the last couple of months to bring you an interactive space where youth workers could meet, seek guidance, exchange knowledge, and share interesting ideas related to digital youth work. It offers a possibility to register and create your own profile, and then connect with the registered users – organisations or individual youth workers. When interested, users can have a private chat or create a forum to discuss different topics related to digital youth work, give recommendations, and exchange best working practices.

We are sure that you will also appreciate an interactive map, where you can find more than 200 good practices, out of which 32 were selected as the best practices in digital youth work and use of media in this field. Moreover, each registered user can pin good practices from their countries on a map. All good and best practices are also included under the section “List of resources” where you can search for the specific resource by the country, type, or category.

The Hub will soon include a simulation game for youth workers, which will help them better understand the various situations they may face when working in an online environment. There will also be two manuals available on the web – the Work and Media Manual, where the youth workers and organisations will find interesting tips and guidance on how to approach selected topics related to digital youth work, including media making or use of data and information in this field.

Don’t hesitate, register today, and become part of our DiGi YOUTH network! We guarantee that you will discover great tips on how to move your activities to the online environment as efficiently and comfortably as possible. You will meet interesting people with whom you will be able to establish future cooperation or just exchange tips and ideas. We look forward to seeing you aboard and to your contributions!
