Gamefy

gaMEfy is an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project aimed at promoting media and digital literacy among young people through gamification and interactive learning. It addresses the increasing need for education in recognising fake news, fostering critical thinking, and empowering active and informed citizens. The project combines innovative methodologies with a solid scientific foundation to create engaging educational tools. At its core is a multiplayer simulation game designed to teach young people how to critically evaluate information, navigate the media landscape, and engage responsibly in the digital world. Participants learn to distinguish between misinformation and reliable sources, enhancing their skills as both consumers and creators of media content.

The initiative also strengthens the capacities of youth workers by providing them with effective educational resources and innovative methodologies to support their work in media literacy and civic education. Through joint training activities, pilot testing, and multiplier events across Europe, gaMEfy promotes the importance of education, active citizenship, and lifelong learning.
