Future Chronicles is an Erasmus+ European Youth Together project aimed at strengthening democratic participation and media literacy among young people across Europe. The project tackles challenges such as misinformation, distrust in democratic institutions, and low levels of civic engagement. It provides youth with essential skills, participatory tools, and innovative educational approaches.
By utilising gamification, creative media production, and foresight methodologies, Future Chronicles empowers young people to anticipate societal changes, engage in democratic processes, and help shape Europe’s future. The project promotes the development of digital competencies, critical thinking, and civic resilience, particularly among young people with fewer opportunities.
Project activities include the creation of gamified educational content, media labs, training sessions, and the development of future scenarios co-created by young participants. Additionally, Future Chronicles fosters international dialogue and collaboration between youth organisations, policymakers, and civil society actors.
