Viktor Borš completed his studies at Palacký University in Olomouc, at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Politics and European Studies. He studied Political Science and European Studies at the bachelor’s degree level, and European studies and International Relations at the master’s degree level. He was on two Erasmus study stays in Cracow at the Jagiellonian University and in Paris at the University of Paris-South (Paris XI/University Paris-Saclay).

From the second year of his studies, Viktor Borš has got rich extracurricular activities. He was a member of the TOP 09 campaign team in the Olomouc Region for the 2013 parliamentary elections. He also helped in the contact campaign in the Senate elections in the Czech Republic in Jitka Seitlová’s team. He took traineeships in several organisations and civic associations: Demagog.sk (fact-checking of political statements), Amnesty International Czech Republic, Kohovolit.cz, and others. In his free time he participated as a delegate in the Model UN sessions in Bonn, Paris, Ljubljana, and Poznan. He also participated in the Visegrad Summer Schools in Budapest and Krakow.

Viktor Borš is currently working as a manager of the project Re-Start (Naša Sobota civic association), which aims to motivate the citizens of Rimavská Sobota to become more involved in public and civic discussions in the city. He is a co-author of the principles of the participatory budgeting of Rimavská Sobota. He has been working in the European Dialogue since 2015 – first as an intern and now as a member and researcher.
